The Waters of VacillationPerched on the dock, swaying at the edge, The ticking of her watch urging her To decide - "Time's wasting away!" But how can she choose between her love And he whose love is unrequited? She sways backwards, her heart aching, Then forwards, intrigued by new love. Should the girl stay with what she knows - Her own rejecting lover? Or should she risk her heart again? The watch ticks, the girl's thoughts pressured, And into the green water she dives. The Waters of Vacillation

If I Could Hold Your HandIf I could hold your hand forever, I would never be afraid Youd be careless with my heart; You would never let it break. If I Could Hold Your Hand
If your arms would pull me close In an embrace Ive never felt before, Youd spark a fire within my soul; Youd be all that I adore.
If you would kiss my lips, Slow and soft to begin, Id give all of my love to you; I could forget all about him.
If you were mine to keep, We could endure whatsoever. We could achieve true love, If I could hold your hand forever.

Heart vs Head, Round 1After days of fighting gravity, I was forced, face-down, into the Earth. My life held no more vitality; I realized how little I was worth.Heart vs Head, Round 1
Nights of trying to convince my mind That, deep down, he loved me just as well; The reality wasn't hard to find, Yet, as always, it still hurt like Hell.
I'm sure there's a lesson to be learned - A lovesick heart can't cooperate With the mind when it knows love is spurned - For my heart, a lesson learned too late.

It's all very complex. Or else it's very simple. Or perhaps both. Or neither.
